HOW TO DOWNLOAD YOUTUBE VIDEOS
*PLEASE NOTE*: You will not be able to access YouTube from the school network, this must be done on your home computer. The resulting video file will play on your classroom computer.
These instructions will help you download videos you find on YouTube.
1. Go to http://www.youtube.com and find a video you want to download. Make sure you are on the page where the video is playing:
2. Highlight the Address of the page, and then right click on the highlighted text and select copy:

3. Go to http://www.keepvid.com and right click in the blank area and select Paste:
4. Now hit the Download button on the right hand side
5. The following will pop up, just click "run"
6. A variety of download types will be avaliable. Choose one of the .flv This file type works great with the smartboard
7. Left click the link and save it to your "My Docs"
8. You can bring the video to school using your flash drive or you can email it to yourself
9. You can also add the FLV file into your smartboard by just "dragging and dropping" it.
